Q: Shall I be able to take down the anti-slip pull up bar for door frame when it's not in use?
A: You can, but it's really meant to stay put wherever you decide to put it. For the most secure mounting. First, you drill the ancho cups into the wall. Then you “unscrew” the ends of the bars to lengthen it till it's tight against the cups and use a small retaining screw to keep the bar from being able to shorten and fall out.
